Mosaic Psychiatric Services is a small, independently owned mental health practice. We provide holistic care to individuals living with mental health and substance use disorders to help achieve each person's unique goals. All are welcome at our practice.
Our Providers Kellye Mixson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
I have over 28 combined years in nursing. The majority of my nursing career has been spent working with clients living with mental health and substance use disorders. I also have experience working with individuals in long term care, assisted living and memory care communities.
In 2019, I obtained my masters degree in nursing at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program (PMHNP) program. I was drawn to the program's focus on Telehealth to provide services to individuals in rural and underserved areas. The program's innovation in incorporating Telehealth was invaluable to me as I started practice during the COVID-19 pandemic.
My experience as a PMHNP includes adult outpatient behavioral health, both in person, and via Telehealth services, and in-patient mental health treatment in a forensic mental health hospital. I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan in urban and rural communities. I look forward to meeting you and working with you to achieve your goals.
Our priorities
I was born in Collingsworth County, Texas and raised in Vernon and Wilbarger County. I lived and worked many years in Wichita Falls, Tx before relocating to Austin, Tx in 2011. In 2023, my family moved back to live and work in North Texas and be closer to family. Our office is located in Wichita Falls, Tx, which allows us to serve individuals in person in North Texas and all over the state of Texas via Telehealth. Being able to use Telehealth to reach underserved individuals in rural and urban areas is a priority for our practice.
